The North Pole

This recipe is an homage to the Canadian origin of Toco’s founders! One night with friends in Montreal, they decided to put a sweet twist to the good old fashioned drink by mixing Toco with maple syrup instead of sugar. While Cachaca still remained at the heart of the drink, maple syrup made it seasonal while complementing the cocktail’s classic elements.
The drink is not just rich, smoky and boozy but also a true Pan-American experience of flavors, with Toco Cachaça from Brazil, berry-tinged oranges from the US and the sweet maple syrup from Canada.

Ingredients

•2 oz of Toco Cachaça
•1 orange peel
•1 teaspoon of maple syrup
• cinnamon stick for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a glass full of ice cubes, add the cachaça along with the maple syrup.
  2. Squeeze the orange peel to liberate some zest and mix the cocktail.
  3. Place an orange twist in the drink and add a cinnamon stick for garnish.
